Moving in Summerville: what to know before you pack
Summerville has been growing for years and it shows in the moves: new construction in Nexton, Cane Bay and Summers Corner, older homes under the pines near the historic downtown, and a steady stream of people arriving from out of state. New builds mean closing dates that slide, which is hard to plan around with a garage full of boxes you already bought.
I-26 is the other factor. We schedule Summerville drops outside commute hours so the window we give you holds.
Summerville is part of our Charleston service area, Dorchester County.
